Day 2 of Fat Marc(h) came 6 days after Day 1 of Fat Marc(h). I know...l know, but better late than never. I walked the other direction down the trail today to Goose Creek and back. The mileage was extended a little bit and so was the pace. My goal is to get in 5 miles in exactly 1 hour. Now I know that doesn't sound like much, but its actually a pretty quick walking pace. I am actually getting close to looking like one of those goofy speed walkers, minus the swinging arms. (you know who you are people).

Fat Marc(h): Day 2
Fat Marc(h): Day 1
Back by no demand whatever, I felt it was time to blog again. Inspired by the not so popular television series “Fat March” on ABC, I have decided to embark on a walking adventure on the W&OD trail that runs behind our house. I will track the mileage walked as well as any amusing observations I have along the way. Here’s how Day 1 went:
Date
9/13/07
Mileage
3.5 miles
Time
55 min
Cumulative Mileage
3.5 miles
Observations
-5 deer, one of which seemed to be following me along the trail.
-a high school cross country team
-and my favorite, a woman jogger who actually stopped to light up a cigarette
